Plays, book signings with authors, winter lights and more are all happening in Central Illinois this week.

Andrew Carroll traveled across the globe collecting wartime letters. He visited almost 40 countries, including Iraq and Afghanistan, and from the artifacts he found, crafted a story about the war letters.
Now, his nonfiction book, “If All the Sky Were Paper,” will be brought to life on stage.

Renovations have been completed at the Virginia Theatre, which is officially reopening for Ebertfest on April 23rd.

The Station Theatre in Urbana is holding auditions for Skeleton Crew this weekend. The play tells the story of four Black characters working at an auto plant that’s at risk of going under.

URBANA – Live theater in America has been largely shut down for the past two months, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
